Mike Webb PhD holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Essex, an MSc in MolecularSpectroscopy from Kingston University, and a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial CollegeLondon. He has over 40 years’ experience of CMC drug development experience from initialIND to registration, having been intimately involved in numerous NDA’s. He had served asVice President for development chemistry and analysis for GSK in Europe. He has beeninvolved in developing CMC in the emerging area of therapeutic oligonucleotides for around15 years and frequently presents at international meetings. In the last 9 years he has beenconsulting on oligonucleotide CMC development with biotechnology and big pharma clientsacross most modalities (ASO, SiRNA, MiRNA and PMO) from the pre-clinical phase toNDA/MAA. He also develops and runs training courses on control strategies for therapeuticoligonucleotides
